At Allcool we take preventative maintenance seriously as we understand this to be an essential process for ensuring your air conditioning and refrigeration equipment’s efficiency, reliability and longevity, whilst in some instances also validates and retains manufacturer warranties on newer equipment.
When we say preventative maintenance you may be wondering what this entails and just why is it so important?
When we complete preventative maintenance to both air conditioning and refrigeration equipment (which includes ice machines) we complete a number of checks and we’d like to explain some of the reasons we complete these checks to give you an insight;
- By cleaning the Evaporators & Condensers with Cleaning Solution this gets rids of dirt, dust and debris which can act as an insulating layer and reducing airflow, potentially leading to higher operating temperatures and increased energy consumption.
- Checking & Cleaning of Filters or quotation/providing replacement filters when they are required as dirty filters and obstructions can lead to poor airflow and strain on other components.
- Ensuring your systems are fully operational and complete checks on the system pressures, electrical cables & connectors and refrigerant leak checks.
- Our engineers collate digital reports for every inspection they complete along with their job sheets, providing you with the documents you require after each visit. These include the maintenance inspection sheets, F Gas certificates and calibration certificates where these are applicable
- We endeavour to provide you with information on potential faults before they become issues which leave essential equipment out of action, which could result in loss of business in some industries. Some our recommendations often include reports on the corrosion level of your systems as this can cause damage to components, leading to reduced efficiency, leaks and potential system failure.
- When it comes to refrigeration our engineers’ complete checks on the door seals/gaskets and hinges of your systems as these are a vital part in forming an airtight barrier to keep cool air in the fridge and warm air out.
- When we clean your ice machines, although you may keep these clean as part of your own schedule, we service the components you may not see or be able to access as part of our standard service, giving you peace of mind everything is in optimum working order
- By providing you with competitive quotes for potential or current faults, along with recommendations which could improve the efficiency of your systems, you are protecting your investment and able to allow for these in financial budgets
