Allcool have successfully delivered our services for over 40 years along the Fylde Coast and throughout Lancashire

Allcool have successfully delivered our services for over 40 years along the Fylde Coast and throughout Lancashire and are committed to providing a fair service, acting with integrity and are open about the decisions we make and the services we offer. Our works and projects revolve around the local area and our Engineers and supporting staff are generally employed from within the County which feeds back into the local economy, providing local jobs.

We continue to provide opportunities for the County by aiming to take on 1-2 apprentices each year onto the 4 year apprenticeship programme, currently employing 11 apprentices at various levels of their courses across the HVAC industry. 3 of our current apprentices were also in the running for the ACR Apprentice of the year aware being held in December 2023 – of which 2 were successful and awarded with the Installation Engineer Gold Winner and Service Engineer Gold Winner. A number of our apprentices have also gone on to develop themselves as specialist independent firms still working within the County.

As a Lancashire firm Allcool champion the community by providing sponsorship for local football clubs, golf clubs and cricket clubs – including Thornton Cleveleys U9’s club, Fylde Cricket, St Annes Cricket, and Blackpool North Shore Golf Club to name a few! We support a number of charitable organisations including Trinity Hospice and The Boat House Youth among others – including specifically the NHS Employee of the year award and Student of the year at Blackpool Sixth Form College. Every year we support the Trinity Hospice Christmas Tree Collections and donate our pallets to the local Rotary Club for bonfire night.

Working towards Net Zero, we continue to deliver quality services that are focussed on improving environmental impacts of an industry dominated by ozone depleting substances and fossil fuels and work alongside our Manufacturer partnerships and trusted suppliers to offer our Customer base with energy efficient options. Allcool provide reports on equipment worked on to allow our customer base to forward plan and consider their energy saving options for the future.

All waste produced by Allcool is safely disposed of via various methods such as managed collection of general waste, cardboard waste, etc. All metal waste is processed and where possible taken to be recycled. Refrigerant is disposed of under the regulations of REFCOM and Allcool are audited on our handling of this process. All appropriate documentation is obtained/produced available for the Authority at request.

Vehicle trackers are fitted onto the fleet of Allcool work vans and by having these in place ensures dynamic job allocation which not only aids the need of the Contract requirement but also reduces fuel consumption and in turn our carbon footprint.

Wellbeing of staff is a high priority to Allcool and as such all staff have access to a HR Manager and are supported by an independent HR firm who offer a confidential support network for any concerns employees may have. This ensures practical resolutions are formed and addressed with an independent representative, removing any opportunity for discrimination in the workplace. All staff have the use of Breathe HR for open and fair annual leave submission and are enrolled into a Healthshield benefit scheme providing support in everyday physical wellbeing such as optical, dental, physio and mental health – whilst also providing them with virtual access to these services.
